Introduction
The Tumaini Fireside Conversation series aims to create a space where people are able to learn, re learn and unlearn in order to drive the African agenda based on new insights into the African ideology and heritage. In a generation crowded with a lot of information but not knowledge, the Fireside Conversation series strives to share knowledge of the African culture and best practices across the continent to help cover the knowledge gap between the old and the young. This exchange will also enable Africans to identify opportunities, build solutions and invest in building a better Africa.

Sustaining Business in Africa as a Young Entrepreneur
December 15th, 2021 TAKC organized its first Fireside Business Round-table, the event had 15 young African Entrepreneurs who attended physically and 6 entrepreneurs who attended online around Uganda from different business sector to discuss the theme “SUSTAING BUSINESS IN AFRICA AS A YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR”.
Our Guest Speaker was Mr. Opio Douglas the Exective Director of Federal Uganda Board of Employers. He is an experienced Labor and Employment Expert with a demonstrated history of working with local and international Employers. Skilled in business strategy, industrial relations, Nonprofit Organizations, Sustainable Development, EAC regional integration, training, public speaking and resource mobilization. Mr Opio mentioned that entrepreneurs should have an idea book for writing down every single idea that comes to mind and that they should learn to manage cost, because it's inevitable.
Investment in Africa from a Global Perspective
April 1st 2022, TAKC organized a Fireside Business Round-table, the event had thirty-two (32) young African Entrepreneurs around Uganda from different business sector to discuss the theme “INVESTMENT IN AFRICA FROM A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE”.
Our Guest Speaker is Ms. Rachelle YAYI a dedicated social activist, a devoted agent of change and an esteemed business woman. She is the founder of AFARA SOLUTIONS with offices in Benin, South Africa and Togo. She was a Special Assistant and Advisory to the former president of the republic of Benin.
She engaged the audience as they disused some the similar changes young entrepreneurs around Africa encounter and her advice on how to deal with them.
